Problem

Many early-career supervisors struggle with managing interpersonal team dynamics and lack the confidence to handle workplace conflict effectively. This often results in unresolved issues, decreased morale, and lower team productivity. A needs analysis revealed that traditional policy-based training was not equipping supervisors with the behavioral and communication skills necessary for real-world conflict scenarios.

Solution

A scenario-based eLearning module developed using Articulate Storyline 360, incorporating branching decision paths and feedback-driven interactions. Learners navigate realistic workplace situations, select communication strategies, and receive immediate feedback to strengthen leadership judgment and emotional intelligence. The design blends behavioral psychology principles with modern instructional design strategies to simulate authentic workplace conversations.

Impact

An interactive learning experience that enables supervisors to identify early conflict indicators, apply active listening techniques, and implement resolution strategies that support healthier team dynamics and improved workplace communication.
